Maintenance Technician II

Maintenance Technician II

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Maintenance Department as a Maintenance Technician II. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Perform mechanical and or electrical troubleshooting on all equipment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Positive individual who is willing to expand current skill set, through schooling and training.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with others at all levels of the organization.
  • The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform routine mechanical, electrical, and electronic preventative maintenance on plant equipment, chillers, boilers, HVAC, general lighting, air compressors, hydraulic systems, and overhead doors.

Required:

  • Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred.
  • HVAC journeyman or 2 years of HVACV experience preferred.
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent with 2 years of previous experience working in a trade industry as an Electrical, Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Knowledgeable in 3 phase and single-phase power distribution systems, motor controls, wiring, and troubleshooting of such systems preferred.
