Receiver

Department Warehouse
Location Las Vegas, NV

Receiver

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build a career with our Warehouse team as a Receiver. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Schedule: M - F – 4:30am AM - To end of work

Pay: $19.00 ($19-$24 Incentive Program)

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, inspecting for damages and discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the purchasing team to resolve any issues or discrepancies with received items.
  • Verify the quantity, code date and quality of items received, ensuring accuracy in comparison to purchase orders, and packing list.
  • Organize and stage received merchandise in appropriate storage areas, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
  • Inspect and identify any defects or damages in received items, notifying the appropriate team members for further action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiency and ensure accurate and timely processing of received items.
  • Accurately record received items in the inventory management system, entering information such as part numbers, quantities, and serial numbers.

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Proficient in using inventory management systems and software’s.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document information.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and vendors.
