People and Culture Intern

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to build their career with our People and Culture Department as an intern. In addition to joining a company that has been awarded “Best Companies to Work For”, we offer excellent training, development and an outstanding benefits package. This is a dynamic role where you will be a key part of our People and Culture Team with objectives including:

  • Achieving skills and competencies in People and Culture (Human Resources), including assisting with the administration of human resources, health benefits, engagement platforms and execution of special events.
  • Gaining knowledge of policies and procedures that regulate our health, benefits, wellness programs and human resources administration.


  • Organize, scan, and purge personnel files
  • Run our NiccoKids summer program
  • Assist with preparing and serving meals to our team members
  • Perform mid-year benefits audits
  • Assist with the production of the Nicco Newsletter
  • Update our Nicco kids playroom
  • Help with the administrative responsibilities for our HRIS
  • Organize supply areas


  • Various morale events
  • Any other departmental tasks as assigned


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Creative with a good sense of humor
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel Experience
  • Enjoy handling multiple projects and tasks
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with sensitive issues
  • Ability to work independently and organize groups of people
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Very strong work ethic
